I'm a photographer, writer, and garden enthusiast. Those are and always have been the greatest passions in my life. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to be able to see and appreciate a beautiful garden and then to photograph it to produce beautiful images of a unique space. Whether it is a classical garden, unstructured wildflower garden, small plots or grand estates, town or country, water or kitchen garden, or a design for an RHS Flower Show, I love the challenge of bringing out the best of each space in my images.
I have been a professional photographer for the past 15 years, but in actual fact have always had a camera in my hand! Trying to take great images is both my ambition and compulsion. I feel complete with a camera in my hand.
I live with my husband Bob in a very rural location in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so am fortunate to be surrounded by the most amazing landscapes. As well as photography I am also an author and currently have three books of landscape photography published. These are: "The Forest of Bowland" "The Pennines" and "Land's End to John O'Groats Walking the Length of Britain in 7 Stages". Both books are published by Merlin Unwin Books.
